I didn't put those two together like that. X1 did overship. Its shipped 5.1mil (as of march) and its sold around 4.1mil-4.3mil to date. Its also overtracked by over 80k in US (well around that number).

As for wiiu, i never implied wiiu is not overshipped. But thats not the point.

Thank you for answering my question. So you think they'll ship another 1.5mil by end of June (Q2). Well i highly doubt they will....

1. Considering they shipped 1.2mil this past quarter

2. Biggest Exclusive of the first half of the year is out already

3. There are at Least 800k (by end of Q1) on store shelves.

Since you also said X1 x4 shipped over wiiu, you think WiiU will be under 375k. I'll remember that.

2.) Watchdogs/madden/fifa (does that come out q2?) etc will have a larger effect than titanfall. Titanfall effect isn't over either.

3.) xbox one will become 50 dollars cheaper in the states soon. $450 in some places but gamestop still sells it at 500 dollars.

4.) xbox one will release in china and perhaps more countries (arent they supposed to sell 100k this year alone in china?)

5.) wii u probably has at least 600k on shelves (they are in 72 + countries dont forget compared to xbox ones 13)

Where did you get the 600k figure? is that made up cuz i doubt there are that many wiiu's on store shelves. 

As for $50 price cut, there were so many $450 titanfall bundles, that counts for something alone. Also Titanfall will have a bigger impact than those 3rd party titles cuz the difference being Titanfall was exclusive while the others will also be on PS4 (a cheaper/more powerful console).

even if your statement is true, it's only in some cases, it's in the past and is completely irrelevant to the subject being discussed.

I'd say it still paints a pretty accurate picture of WiiU' current situation, i.e much worse than Xbone's.

if Vgchartz numbers are accurate that means Xbox One is overshipped by quite a large margin so I could see this quarter shipments being rather low, maybe 500k or so. On the other hand Wii U has the Mario Kart bundle coming so shipments may be relatively high compared to its other non holiday quarters, maybe 500k or so. The gap wont change much this quarter in my opinion.

Is it closing in on PS4's shipments too?
