I mean that your team of six cannot contain the same 2 Pokemon. Your team of six also have to have all different held items.

For your team of 3, you're allowed to use any of your Pokemon more than once. I'll clarify that. #^_^#

So when are the battles supposed to take place, or is it just whenever?

Just whenever, you challenge the Type Master you want and we'll then find the best time to get together.

Good i like it that way better.  Wouldnt be fair otherwise with type advantages.  THough ill prob wait until you all get a few more people.  Sounds like a lot of fun though :)
