I don't know. The Box is 5 years old and sells how many?
Horrible example as the Original Xbox is no longer in production and hasn't been in production for over a year.
I'm not trying to call it dissapointing at all. But it doesn't cost only 400, there's a 300 dollar version. I'm not sure which sales better. But regardless, saying it's a "400" dollar system is not technically correct. Like how everyone says the PS3 costs "600" and they never mention the other price point.
The point is moot, as the price of one is more than the other. The rational here is that the cheaper system with good games will obviously sell more then a more expensive system with games. Once PS2 games stop being developed, sales will eventually slow and more buyers will move on to the next gen systems.
Will it be number one for that long? I think Wii takes over worldwide by the summer.
That is even if the Wii can produce that many by the summer, and if the console sales of it's competition remains stagnant until summer.
