The story with Adam does not get in the way of the gameplay, which is solid.

Other M = Why would you give one of the strongest female leads to a developer that is known for prioritizing tits before everything else!!!

Team Ninja loves some titties but they also have a history of pushing graphics.  I was pretty disappointed by the lack of tits and the graphics in Other M, though.  Gameplay was pretty fun, though.

I found the controls a bit awkward for other M. My main problem with it.

The difference being that Metroid Fusion was actually fun. And Samus didn't have any mental breakdowns at the sight of a boss she's already beaten 7 trillion times.

I agree it's a spoiler and all but we did find out that guy's fate way back in like 2002 or whatever when Fusion came out.  There's got to be a statute of limitations on Vader is Luke's father!  YEAH!  You just got spoiled, sucka!!
