A game, multiplat or not, that you can find on one console that isn't available on the other. That or a mega blockbuster multiplat like GTA that sells any system its on. Said game must have buzz and a frequent presence in online discussion, signalling a near constant interest.

Granted this is my personal definition and is not the standard. But that said, my personal list removes the fluff, the filler, and games that just are not on the core gamers main radar. Also have a 70 meta cut off, but again thats just me. It also transends exclusives, digital/retail release, and that indies, while a factor in determining a systems overall quality library, are not system sellers.

Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Titanfall vs Killzone and Infamous.

Granted each game in their own is not a significant system seller on their own, like Killer Instinct or KZ. But together both sides provide a compelling reason to buy either console. At the moment X1 has more. But again this is a distilled, simple list. I will concede that PS4s overall library is superior.

When people say that, they're talking about next gen in general (no pun intended). The launch titles were disappointing and all we've gotten since then is Titanfall and Infamous: SS.

Ain't sayin' it has no games, but mine has been collecting dust since I've finished inFamous.

It is indeed ironic, example is some how some way some viewed titanfall exclusive for Microsoft but planetside 2 does not count or Dc Universe?
In as a Sony Console Exclusive? Lmao an exclusive is just that only on one platform that means if sony has it on two of its platforms for the same game it is not exclusive. Same for any platform holder but with Microsoft its seen as a "microsoft" exclusive no matter what if its Pc because mainly the OS that the game is ran on many times is Windows thus planetside 2 would not count because it can be found also on a "microsoft platform also"

But that view just so happens to ignore Linux, or Mac too when that is brought up!

Lmao Its using semantics to manipulate perception of Sony not having exclusives. Thats one thing you could not apply to Nintendo really because most of the games for the platform made by Nintendo 1st party would never be found on other platforms except by rom running emulators.

The talking point about no games for a platform only in its 1st 6 months is pretty ironic to say the least , hell wven in its 1 to 2 year time because even by than there is most of the time over 200+ games for the platform by than.

Even if its back archive games its still there for those consumers that was not able to play those games at the time so its in effect a new game for that person . Watching an older move you never seen before is a new movie for that person.

Yes and many times the ones bringing this very issue seem to count Titanfall in the MS side but fail to count Dc universe, warframe, planet side 2 on Sony's side for Quote "Console Exclusive" Game to make it seem Sony has less Console Exclusives! If people want to use that message on in public forums on what is defined as a "Exclusive" fine but just because Microsoft has the windows os does not make every game found on the Pc count as only for microsoft because If linux or mac can also play the same game than its not exclusive any way so it does not matter. 

It's simply untrue to say PS4 has no games, because for a 5 month console, it has a good amount of games.

And how do you think public perceptions and loyalty are generated? They surely are not spontaneous.

If you love the products and services of one brand and know whats coming up in the next 5 years, you dont ditch them for another brand who has slightly better games today.

Even if you are right, that just means things will get worse for X1. If PS4 is selling PS4 right now... what will happen when games start selling the PS4 as well?

If he wants to argue that PS4 isn't selling on games, he must imply that the XB1 can only be sold on its games and not the merits of the console as a whole.

Again many gamers are just fickle and go where the games go. Loyalty is really only reserved for fanboys such as myself. Now things wouldn't necessarily get worse for X1, merely that PS4 momentum will be maintained one way or another, which is good for you guys.
