I'm not sure if you skipped it by mistake or because it's on an "Xbox" system, but Plants VS Zombies warfare game thing is also on the Xbox360 and isn't an Xbox1 exclusive.

What I cannot begin to fathom is why, every single person who says no games and clarifies that none of the games appeal to them some how believe that their subjective opinion is useful at all when discussing the objective fact of game console sales.

Its probably some kind of immaturity, naivete, and ignorance of how the market and industry operates. I for example; despise Angry Birds, Flappy Birds, Cut the Rope, Clash of Clans, Candy Crush practically all of the popular games on mobile. But I also recognize that this is my personal preference, and that the personal appeal of any of the games is completely irrelevant to the topic of smartphone game sales.

The simple answer to the question why is "X selling, it has no games is?" is because nobody gives a flying fuck about your opinion, it has no bearing on reality whatsoever.

Attempting to qualify it by placing artificial limits such as console exclusive games or Microsoft/Sony exclusive is just as pointless because only the minority of consumers are considering this when they purchase a console.

It simply comes to price and value, the more games a console can play the higher its value is with regard to gaming. If a game can only be played on a system, hence an exclusive it raises its value even higher. But being multiplat does not mean that it does not add value to the console as well.

Oh my bad, just checked and its on PC too, so rule that one out and drop xbox exclusives to 12.

This line.... if only it was actually true to the hardcore fanboys. I had a mate whine and cry all the time about every aspect of GTA4 just because it was developed on the 360 alongside the Ps3 version, in his mind it was always a playstation game (even with them always being on the PC or game boy as well) but yeah every tiny flaw he found in the game was because it wasn't optimized for the ps3 because of the 360 version... there being another version of the game literally took the fun away from his ps3 copy of it.

I agree with you tho, I recently been playing the Jak + Dexter trilogy on the Vita, had some mates taking the piss because the Vita doesn't have games just remakes of ps2 games..... was like.... oxymoron? Since I never played them back on the PS2 they're 100% for me as good as any other game I get for it.

Ah, didn't know it was out on the PC but as someone still rooted in the 7th gen... and staying there for the next year at least I know that came out to the 360 too, I think it might have been a week or 2 after the X1 version but both are definately on sale now.
