Releasing the same game twice with slight graphical upgrade for most likely a full priced release is... They already announced Playstation Now, why bother doing this and not just using that?

Consumers aren't forced to purchase this, do you understand this simple concept? If you don't want it, don't buy it. There are people out there who were Wii/Xbox 360 only gamers last gen that have now purchased a PS4. I'm sure they would love to play some of these PS3 exclusives, and so Sony is giving them the oppurtunity to play them on PS4 with improved graphics and all the dlc included.

You seem to think that Sony is automatically charging your credit card when this game is released. Don't worry, they won't.

No, I understand the whole cash grab concept but there are other ways they could have done this such as Playstation Now (provided thats a cheaper alternative of course).

The problem with PlayStation now is that it requires a pretty good download speed as well as a constant internet connection. I think I remember the minimum was 5 MB/s...For some people thats not possible.

Not to mention that some people seem to have a misconception that PlayStation Now is a PS4 service or feature. It's not. It's a Sony service. Used across various Sony devices including tablets, TVs, and the Vita. A PS4 version of Beyond and The Last of Us does not interfere with PlayStation Now no more than those games already being on the PS3.

They need to get GT6 on PS4 this year, don't care too much about Beyond.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

2 games is already more than what their competitors are doing... Heck, one game is more than what their competitors are doing... Nintendo or MS has yet to even reveal a "remaster" for a game that literily launched less than a year ago... I get the Last of Us but this thing didn't sell as much and isn't critically acclaimed... If this was Nintendo/MS, everyone would be like, dooooomed, anti consumer! Etc...

But again, as I said, hopefully this isn't a remaster

This has no place here. Why do you feel the need to start this shit? The remastered versions are the same thing as GOTY versions, which literally release one year later as well. If you're not against those, then you clearly don't care about this enough in the first place.

I was mainly just pointing out the its competitors don't do it but I guess the last sentence was uncalled for, I will remove that, oh and I am also against GOTY editions...

It isn't a very good game anyway. Waste of resources imo.

I agree, of all the titles they could have picked, I feel they chose the worse option. Namely when the first title was discounted sooo heavily after launch.

@Jizz_Beard_thePirate You know what, I actually do agree with you, but hey don't let fans here you say.

Can people who played this game tell if it is better than the demo released on PSN ?

I tried the demo and really disliked what I saw. Maybe I judged it to fast.

Why not pick a critically acclaimed game/franchise? A new God of war collection or Uncharted Collection would be greatly appreciated from the 360 switchers. Maybe they were just expecting it to be bigger than it actually was.

Given how many HD collections there are on PS3 and PSVita I'm shocked that people are surprised by these announcements.

Lolll... Is Sony gonna do this with all of their games? I guess it makes sense, who needs backwards compatibility when we can just resell one year old games

Hopefully its just Playstation Now compatiblity thing where maybe you can rebind the controls

They've only done two games...and this one isn't even confirmed so only one game.

And what exclusives did 360 have in 2013 to have remastered anyway? Really curious.

I don't understand why people fixate on the "remaster" part (other than a chance to hate on Sony ofc, which majority probably do for that reason).

They are simply porting a game, they have to name it a remaster to spark interest in any potential double dippers. But the only difference between those and all the cross gen games that we have right now, is that they are ported at a later date, cause when they originally launched, the PS4 was right around the corner but not there yet.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!
