I haven't played Heroes since 2004 or 2005. I really need to...

I remember Sonic Heroes being really fun, though I haven't played it in years.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Without a doubt this Sonic game, and since no one has mentioned it.

Get it from PS3/PSN shop. "With the excellent enhanced features: 16:9 Widescreen narrative, HD, Tails unlockable, Sonic 2 spindash physics optional along with the original Sonic CD physics, both US and Jap/EU soundtracks included and incredibly cheap to purchase. A game heavily based on exploration with the amazing time travel gimmick. Excellent music and great replay value. Thoroughly enjoyable. 10/10."

This had time Travel and Multiple endings in 1993 before Chrono Trigger 1995.

It's 4.99 to boot.

Sonic can travel to the past and future of each Zone in the game by running at top speed for a set amount of time. The goal in each stage is to destroy a machine that the antagonist, Robotnik "Eggman", has placed in the past in order to conquer the future. The future of each Zone will change from "bad" (default, ruined future) to "good" (lively and happy) if the machines are destroyed.

But no one considered it bad.

Hence why this thread didn't mention it.

SA2 is not considered good by purists who hate 3D Sonic. I think those guys are elitist assholes.

If I can't pick SA2, this is my next choice

Heavily underrated and let down by its dumbed down sequels. I was hyped for Zero Gravity, but they basically made the game impossible to lose, it felt shorter than Ground Zerores and only 1/9th as fun as GZ.

Sonic Riders with gravity mechanics would've been cool though.

In this day and age, with the Internet, ignorance is a choice! And they're still choosing Ignorance! - Dr. Filthy Frank

what a silly thread

I have to vote a sonic game that people like but hate?
Silly, JUST, silly

I really hope they make a new Sonic Riders game like this one with gravity mechanics (Since they're already copying Mario Kart...)

But again, I'm only talking about the main series.

Wow. I feel like an idiot for forgetting about this game. Time to edit it in.

Of the ones listed, the only one I've played is Sonic '06. Which is a truly awful game from beginning to end.

...but I really enjoy it. There's just something about knowing the ins and outs of a completely broken game that I can't find anywhere else. And there are some genuinely fun segments that show how good the game could have been, if it wasn't such a rushed, poorly-built mess.
