- You can't, absolutely CAN'T, brute force your way on any difficulty. I'd love to see someone try that, even on Normal.
- I think you didn't paid attention, because they actually created a very rich world.
- Enemy A.I. was what you'd expect from "zombies". I don't think they're dumb.

If you read my post, you'd know I said it felt rehashed from RE.  It just didn't add anything to the experience and enemies were always attacking anyway so it really didn't matter.

It shouldn't matter if its rehashed, if you liked it in RE how does the exact same thing feel mindless in Last of Us.  If your talking about crafting on the fly, there was always time to craft in the middle of battles if you played smart.

It's obvious that you didn't enjoy the game, for some reason. You're points on the OP continues to fascinating me in how incorrect they are, by my ones standarts.

It has over 200 GOTY awards, how is that overrated? It is unanimously the game of the year. All those reviewers can't be wrong (mainly cause its their opinion) and they weren't paid (Sony can't afford that noise)

Now, if you didn't like the game, oh well. Shit happens, it doesn't appeal to everyone. Some people thought it was deep, emotional, meaningful and engaging while you thought otherwise.

Now that you got hits on your thread by going against the grain, i bid you good day.

I think there isn't a need for a remake, but I think it could be good to have.  Not everyone has a PS3, so allowing everyone who has a PS4 to buy the game allows more people to play it.  And some people had some complaints with the game originally.  It's still 720p30.  Maybe the remake is 1080p60, which will be a lot nicer personally.  


Should have just made backwards compatibility.  Just an excuse to milk their products if you ask me.  

I think it's impossible to not be overly exposed to zombies in western culture.  And people tell me when it comes to TLOU "It's nothing like the walking dead." when I'm sure it was ripped in some areas.

i played twenty minutes of if and I was just done. It was a generic shooter. I can careless about story if I wanted to watch a movie I would.

I think its a really dumb move. Not for money sakes but for just giving other companies the incentive to re release 1 year old games and expect them to sell. its sending a bad message.

It's an excuse to make more money, yes. No one is arguing otherwise. The HD Remasters on the PS3 worked pretty damn well, so why stop? And since Cell architecture is extremely complex and probably very difficult to emulate, it's the perfect excuse if you ask me.

Shit like this has been happening forever, just look at Super Mario All-Stars.
