What is "X"?

So you're saying that TLoU is bad rehash of Res. Evil 4.  *mindblown*

You shouldn't be comparing both games in the first place  ~

It's not flame bait.  I just want to hear reasons other than the story and graphics, that people think TLOU is a game far better than the others released in 2013

-Original story.  Typical zombie fare. Original story? Are you praising the game or hating on it? I think you mean "Unnoriginal". If it was original that would mean it was unique and something you've never seen before. Learn the difference. Also, they're not fucking zombies.

-Enemy A.I was stupid as hell. Play on Survivor difficulty then if you don't find it difficult enough.

-While the graphics were great, they could have crafted a more imaginitive world.  Wasted oppourtiny. How could they have crafted a more imagitnitive world? Give us examples, cause no one knows what the hell you're talking about.

-Ellie said some of the stupidest irrelevent lines since The Wand of Gamelon. Again...examples. If you are talking about her joke book, then thats just meant to lighten the mood. She was saying silly puns and jokes from her joke book, they're meant to be stupid and silly.

-Gameplay was slow and easy. You tell me it's a generic shooter, but what generic shooter is slow paced? Generic shooters are fast paced games like Battlefield and Call of Duty. Also, as I said before, if you found the game too easy, play on survivor difficulty.

-Stealth didn't matter since you could brute force your way through it on almost all the difficulties.  Good luck with this on survivor. You have limited resources, so most of the time you don't even have any ammo and therefore have to resort to using stealth tactics to take our your enemies one by one. 

-Crafting/invention felt mindless and irrelevent. How the hell did it feel mindless and irrelevant? You crafted useful materials like health packs and bombs, thats irrelevant? You need health packs because there's no health regeneration (Also proving that it's not a generic shooter, as you claim it is) and then you craft things like bombs and smoke grenades so that you can use them when you find yourself out of ammo or you're being surrounded by enemies and feel it's better to throw a grenade, instead of popping your head out to shoot.

Of course it's not useless lol. First of all it's one of the highest rated games from last gen and a lot of people who moved from the 360 didn't have a chance to play it. Obviously we will see sequels to TLOU on ps4 and this is a great way to get people into the franchise.

If you already played it on ps3 then it is a bit pointless to buy it though.

Are you kidding me? Bioshock Infinite, while having a fantastic story, wonderful character and beautiful  settings, was way more of a generic shooter than TLOU. I felt myself being dumbed down from time to time going up against wave after wave of enemies in BI, while in the TLOU, the fighting are farther apart, even then you can feel it start to weigh down on your inventory, especially at higher levels. In BI, i'd just wait until Elizabeth thru me something or dash around to find countless guns on the ground.

I thought it was a generic survival horror game.

I don't believe this man,tlou is one of a kind a game that come once in a generation how can you say this? i mean ahhh... BIASED!! :)

Who says Sony can't pay people out?  Isn't the point of this thread that it's already established that TLOU is a well recieved game.  It just didn't deserve it IMO, and if it weren't so pretty to look at, and the theme so easily digested, I think people would see that too.
