Forums - Sony - Rumor: Sony Finalizing Details for "Bonkers" E3 Lineup; Driveclub Gameplay Will Be Showcased

Meh. I don't really expect to see anything new from Sony. They will probably show a lot of stuff from games we already know but haven't seen much about yet. And probably more about PSNow, Morpheus and future features for the PS4 that we won't see for some time. If they manage to present just a single new exclusive AAA game I will be surprised.

Keeping expectations in check is good, but I think you can set your hopes a little higher. :D

I'd be extremely surprised if there's not a single new AAA exclusive announced at this years Sony press conference.

expect all three players have good showings at E3

Expectations for Nintendo are so low that just putting up some new X footage and a trailer for the Zelda game would count as a good showing.

Last time I checked a home console Zelda game creates huge buzz

We already know it exists.

If the last guardian has indeed been under development like Shu said, its a piece of ammo that Sony will not hesitate to shoot. It will earn them alot of hype.
Should be one of the few titles that can compete with an HD Zelda unveil.

I personally am very excited (even with the delays) for TLG.  But it won't do anything for Sony's sales (not that Sony needs it too ATM).  Neither ICO or Shadow of the Colossus set sales charts alight...

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Their E3 will be probably awesome but showing DriveClub is probably the most boring thing they could do. Yes it will look even better as what we have seen last year, have maybe 60fps now and will have also interesting gameplay this time but it's only taking away time for games we will see the first time or hopefully like with The Last Guardian, a game which is now a PS4 game.

I dont think they will show any big surprises.
They will have launch dates and some more coverage to driveclub, final fantasy xv, destiny, and some more games.
Kingdom hearts 3, uncharted 4 and the last of us remastered will debut some videos and give us some taste.
Some indies should be show too, and 1 or 2 new games, maybe we get good stuff there.
I think thats it, no really big rumors are running around untill now, just one, that was made last year by verendus still make me have some hope, that sony is making 2 big jrpgs. How I hope this is true and they will talk about it this E3.

This is all that matters to me. Just give me a release date. Or a quarter/season it will release. Or even a vague year. Anything.

So what? Before the PS4 was officially announced - everyone knew it existed - it didn't stop the playstations fans and the community from getting excited did it

We haven't seen it! Nor do we have any other information - other than that it is in development. It doesn't take away the hype, excitement, anticipation and buzz that a unveil would cause

lol at the last guardian. i cant be the only one who thinks it wont be shown?

Well, essentially past week was like E3 for the Vita so expecting nothing for it at the actual event.

As for PS4, I am hopeful to have just one major surprise to get me excited for the coming year.

This Bonkers?

I don't know why you'd even bother claiming a great lineup if all you have to reference is DriveClub. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's looking and playing great now, but it's A) A racing game and B) a once-launch title that we've seen plenty of already. That's not going to excite anyone. o.O

I'm hoping for Guerrilla's new IP to make a splash, Santa Monica revealing Cory Barlog's new game, an Uncharted 4 blowout, more of The Order 1886 and hopefully some sign of The Last Guardian. That'll do for me. Any footage of Final Fantasy XV is just icing on the cake. Just please don't spend half an hour on indie games again. >_>
