Wow really hard to believe PS4 took the US in March. Like seriously at this point MS has to be worried. I don't think they'll do anything until after the year is over but things need to change. They've already lost a ton of their user base (I was one of them). At this point it's damage control.

In a way though I'm glad this happened to MS. When Sony was in this situation they came back this generation with an amazing console. MS might take this lesson and do the same I have no issue going back to MS next generation if they impress me.

Divide by the number of days in the month and use a daily rate. 28 is 4 weeks but 31 is less than 5 weeks.  Yes Titanfall helped.  But MS needs a more agressive / permanent price cut.

This means

PS4 > 311 K (NPD) compared with 306 K(VGC)
XB1 = 311 K (NPD) compared with 346 K (VGC)

So that's another win for PS4, 3rd time in a row in 2014, in MS home country!

Also another time PS4 is undertracked and XB1 is overtracked here (at least relatively), which has been a tradition recently.

As I have been saying, there is no way XB1 can outsell PS4 with that price gap. Only if XB1 is cheaper than PS4, then only in US (and possibly in UK and 1 or 2 other countries) that XB1 can catch up with PS4. As I have always said, playstation brand is much stronger than Xbox, regardless of how good these machines actually are.

trust me, would have been a slaughter without those. as for helping, not nearly as much as MS wanted and I made a thread about it which got locked

5 millions. 13 countries. Massive.

PS4 is available in 72 countries and it shipped only 2 millions more.

What's your take on that, fanboys?

And with Titanfall being the #1 selling game, guess we can still call this a victory in some respects. I mean it ain't like X1 is selling WiiU numbers.


X360 is still beasting. Can it outsell the PS2?
