For a console that's almost 1 1/2, that's pretty bad overall.
1st Party - Good
2nd Party - Good
3rd Party - Worse than Wii
Overall - Bad

I wish 3rd Parties would support, but you can't blame them for not when there's more powerful hardware out there.

Well "good" and "bad" are comparative adjectives and only work in direct comparisons. It's also hard to fairly judge a situation if you only have one choice. I'm pretty sure our grandparents thought life was fine without the Internet but that's just because they didn't know it back then. And I'm pretty sure the first cavemen were absolutely content with eating just raw meat.

So if you see it as standalone it's really just up to personal experience. You probably wouldn't say no to more support though. And you might think differently if you once had a higher level of support and then suddenly not anymore even though you were once content with it.

Yeah if you own the system and feel the desire to play a game, there are lots of options. It's great in that regard.

The huge problem is when there's a specific game you want to play, because odds are it's not released for the system.

It also isn't in the menu bar you need to click on more to see the Wii U (and VITA) because 360 and PS3 still selling well.

Look at all the first and 3rd party games those two consoles get in their first year. Not only in quantity but quality. Show me another launch that had so many high profile titles within the first year.

I'm sure you think that all those games are crap and not worthy your purchase but good for us that you're not all people.

No they are not, they are adjectives, their comparative forms are "better" and worse". It is obviously possible to determine if something is good or bad without comparing it to anything else, however the same can't be said about determining what is better or worse.

I agree, but when consoles 7 years older than it are receiving blockbuster titles like GTA V last year, it can't compete. Hopefully this year is better.

I would say yes. While there are some decent games on the system, there is a serious lack of effective diversity. A number of genres go almost completely unrepresented, and those that don't are often weighed down by baggage, with the exception of Nintendo's first party titles.

Nope. You can't tell if something is bad if you don't know what good is. Nothing is bad if you don't know what good is and the other way around.
