Has Wii U support really been that bad?

Im viewing it as a standalone product and not comparing it to anything. I admit im a Wii U only owner, but there is more than enough content now and future to keep me a happy gamer. I dont feel the need to go out and buy multiple consoles this gen.

Well "good" and "bad" are comparative adjectives and only work in direct comparisons. It's also hard to fairly judge a situation if you only have one choice. I'm pretty sure our grandparents thought life was fine without the Internet but that's just because they didn't know it back then. And I'm pretty sure the first cavemen were absolutely content with eating just raw meat.

So if you see it as standalone it's really just up to personal experience. You probably wouldn't say no to more support though. And you might think differently if you once had a higher level of support and then suddenly not anymore even though you were once content with it.
