There have been quite a few, although they seem to be more indie now. Divekick and Skullgirls are the two I've heard the most about, for example. Still, the genre is definitely past its heyday.

On a very realistic one. It's not lighting the charts on fire anywhere: even in its strongest territory, Japan, it's slowing down noticeably, and the system has far less traction in the West than its predecesor. A fair grade for the system would be "Needs Improvement." I suspect the fact that it has fewer big titles, and that more of its heavier hitters are largely concentrated in a smaller number of genres (most notably JRPGs) plays a role, although the system's other drawbacks have been extensively documented on this site already.
