I think Nintendo is waiting to see how Mario Kart 8 performs, if it does well, they will not bring out the big guns and stick to the plan: X and Smash Bros this year and that is that.

If MK8 fails to get the attention they need for the WiiU, them they will come out with a vegeance with stuff like Zelda, Metroid and even FZero, like a desesperate last war cry or something.

companies don't work that way. they'll show Zelda no matter what.

Actually, they do.

Nintendo knows that showing the big guns will canibalize Smash Bros and X sales, and they ressources are limited, very limited.

They know that after showing what they have, they are fucked. After seeing Zelda U, Metroid U and FZero U, if we get not hooked, they are fucked.

So, they will try a step a time and hype the shit outta of every single thing. That is what they are doing with MK8 and Smash Bros.

They got no 3rd party support right now and their own ressources are limited, so, they WILL manage it in a very frugal way, you just wait and see buddy.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Zelda U will be revealed in E3 of this year. Release date in november 2014.

DEAD WRONG. showing a new home console zelda is always positive.

Ok, I guess that makes sense, sorry. =/

What made me think that is the fact that Smash Bros will come in december, I thought they would not have two big games on Xmas.

I want a good trailer at E3 and I want a crowd doing the same like the people did at E3 2004.

If there is no Zelda this year I will be very very very disappointed. I expect nothing except Zelda U... and that they won't call it Zelda U.

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

Zelda U will be announced and almost every Zelda fan will be angry or disappointed.

I've predicted two things. I should get a gold star.

unless you think more games = less money, why would you think that? and smash isn't confirmed for december, it could be november.

I was thinking about releasing this year, which is not what you said, showing is always good, you are right about that.

I guess I don´t know how big Nintendo really is, I thought that they had to milk Smash for months because they can afford to release a bunch of big games all at once, but I guess your logic makes more sense.

nintendo is like the biggest gaming company in the world. i think they are the ones who release the most self produced games every year, if we consider solo companies.

p.s: releasing Zelda this year would also be very positive.

I just hope it doesn't end up being a 2D top down Zelda game.
