In what capacity will Zelda U be revealed at this year's E3?

I still think X has a good chance at releasing this year as well, it looked to be quite far in development at the last Direct they showed it. Yarn Yoshi possibly, but they haven't shown anything about it for a long time so who knows. That rumored NFC game maybe, depends on how big and high profile it is. SMT vs. FE I wouldn't give a real chance of releasing anywhere before holiday 2015.


No. Zelda will be november 2014 or november 2015. Not other month.

Why not? There have been plenty of Zelda games that released outside of the holidays. In fact, there's only been a few that released simultaniously during the holiday in all three regions. Yes, those are mostly the last few, but I don't think there's a 'rule'.

In any event, I don't think it'll be november this year, it'd sooner be november next year I agree.

EDIT: Though, honestly, I should've mentioned there's a high chance I just threw that out there without thinking about it .

I didn't mean to insult all Gamestop customers :) I was trying to say: There's a lot of customers out there who are not forum nerds like us. They don't know or care about the difference between publisher, brand owner, developer and studio.

Those are the Japanese release dates. But I can't argue, because it wasn't specified on his side of the argument.

they already announced a zelda game. hyrule warriors or something. i dont think theyll announce another. if they did zelda will start to feel milked imo. also, i thought nintendo gave up on e3. i think theyll announce the end of wii u thought and finally go third party like sega. cant wait to play smash on my pc

You chose to ignore the points I made: Hyrule Warriors (HW) is supposed to sell on the Zelda name, that's its sole reason of existence. Other than Zelda U, HW is announced for 2014. A hypothetical holiday release (= november) of Zelda U leaves just a short release window for HW (july - september maybe?)... and it looked super early and rough in december. Possible, yeah! But unlikely.

have you seen the dinasty warriors games? what they showed in december is already a finished game by their standards.

and I meant that there's nothing pointing that HW is meant to give people their "zelda fix" for 2014, so it's no indicator. it's just an easy exclusive nintendo got and I'm thinking will release during summer in japan.
