Forums - Sales - NPD warm up

Pretty sure PS4 is undertracked. February NPD had PS4 at somewhere around 280k for the month. VGC's numbers put it at around 30k less than that for March. Hard to believe considering that February had much worse stock for PS4 in the US than March did and it didn't have a major retail exclusive. If VGC isn't off by at least 50k for the PS4 I'll be shocked.

I thought NPD is next week as March is a 5 weeks month.

I'll pass.. Still, Titanfall seems to have failed to achieve what it originally set out to do. SELL SYSTEMS!

We will know soon enough if I'm right.

Of course, I'm right. I always am.

Titanfall alone pushed 150-200k extra consoles, not a flop, but maybe some people had even greater expectations (some were really preposterous).

You're kidding? Titanfall did its job, it got the xbox to outsell all for the week it got it to sell still over 100k in the second week, and not bad on the numbers for the 3rd week

Oh nice, titanfall fails huh then I guess infamous really got smacked down hard. Titanfall so far outsells out awards it, and gots a better score on metacritic 80 for infamous vs 86 for titanfall mmmm titanfall did great

It depends on who you ask. Different people had different expectations.

Please don't derail the thread so we don't get mods to intervene.

*Falls of chair laughing*

Comparing an open world game to a FPS game?!? Your logic is undeniably bewildering.

I've seen it all now.

Indeed. Titanfall is sooooo good that it has no SP AND 6v6 online.

YES! GOTG! LMAO!

Humour. I need it to keep me alive. Thanks :D

Ok. Breath slowly...

P.S. Whoever said Titanfall is GOTG needs to get another job. The Last Of Us will get better reviews on PS4 and its a last gen game too. Lol.

PS4 & X1 will both be undertracked, hopefully by a significant amount

I expect ps4 to sell more in March than February, with more stock, infamous SS and MGS: GZ. Can't wait for Sony's over 7 million announcement if there would be any :D
I remember when folks in here said the ps4 had not reach 3 million sold because sony didn't announce it. Only for sony to come in a few weeks later to announce 4.2 million i think. haha
