lol. Well, come on, we get the same conversations every week when a new game releases and it's followed by a slump for obvious reasons, or a consoles isn't selling as well and a new game releases and we get a spike for obvoius reasons. It's internet ping pong for short-termists.
Also, I'm never quite sure what the motive IS for calling saved or doomed. For me, the only reason I worry about sales of a console or handheld is the fact it could be discontinued or support may dry up. The only console I see with any legitimate worry attached to it is the Wiiu and that's because we ARE seeing software drying up. The X1 is doing great, the PS4 is doing brilliantly, the 3DS is still selling very well and the Vita is doing fine.
