I believe he may be refering to the xbox commands as "random things". If on the other hand they really said "random things", then well that's the reason for commands not working.

He's probably saying things like "Xbox, Play Godus"

And Xbox is like "No"

If the man is British, wouldnt he have an accent? wouldnt that mess with voice commands to some extent. Thats teh one thing that was weird for me with the voice command thing. So much tounges and dialects, whose were they basing it on? Hell even in the states people sound different from one another. Lot of variety even here.

I think Molyneux is being harsh. Kinect is a really interesting piece of hardware with a lot of potential. Microsoft and third parties just need to invest in it. I feel the same way about Kinect as I do about the WiiU GamePad and Vita's rear touchpad: I'm fine with it as long as people make games that leverage it. You were brave enough to create the technology, now be brave enough to use it.

I'm sure he is talking about the Xbox commands.

I want to believe that Kinect can create awesome and fun games but honestly seeing the games made for it so far it's really hard to justify the extra cost.

Dunno about the similarity between them as I don't own an XB1 but I use my Lumia's voice functionality to respond to text messages while driving through my bluetooth and it works pretty well. I don't usually have to repeat myself.
