It's local co-op and anyone can pick up and play it.

I've invested over 400 hours in Brawl and I can safely say it sucks.
It sucks that it keeps tempting me to play another match.
Smash Bros is good because it's a fun game regardless of skill level. It's incredibly easy to get into because of its simplicity and even with its simplicity there's a lot to do.
Now to those Smash Bros pros. I'm not sure if they think it's good or not. I know that a lot of fighting games you find the flaws and advanced techniques to make you a better player and then the game starts to become less enjoyable as you're playing competitively rather than enjoying yourself.
this is one I's one of them games that I can't see the appeal
played all of them and hated them all. I guess it would be fun for 4 but its never been a game fir me

your sig is perfect for this post :)

This is the big one that i've honestly wondered why more fighting games never went for that. Static environments bore the piss out of me and are part of the reason why no other fighter has ever really piqued my interest beyond casual curiosity (aside from the games following in Smash's footsteps, like TMNT: Smash Up, or PS All Stars) |
Injustice did a pretty good job with it in my opinion.
Lots of attacks/combos involved the enviroments, plus it had great stage transitions.

Injustice was great in general. If the inputs weren't so ridiculous to pull off it would've been one of my favorite fighting games.

My sig is appropriate for 100% of my posts. I've done the math.

You don't have to like it just because other people do. I can't stand Metal Gear Solid, but not because it's bad. I just don't like it.
Anyway Smash Bros is to fighting games as Mario Kart is to racing games.
