Meh, Xbone is done as soon as all 4 of Uncharted, GT7, FFXV and MGS5 are out. GT7 FFXV and MGS5 ensures at least 10m+ advantage in Japan, whilst the combination help secure America, and GT7 puts the nail in the coffin in regards to Xbone and Europe.

FF15 and MGS 5 are both onn XB1 in EU and US. And in US Halo will be a bigger factor along with Gears Of War. I think after E3 people will take MS seriously n new ips and exclusives.

Whilst it's true that FF15 and MGS 5 are bothe on xbone, it doesn't negate the fact that there's no brand recognition between the Xbox brand and eith MGS or FF, when you talk about Final Fantasy, what console brand do you think of straight away? Sony, as all the big selling FF's have been on sony consoles (out of the top 10 selling FF's there's only FF3 that's not on a sony platform), or maybe Nintendo if you're an gamer who grew up with the NES and SNES, but even still there's far stronger ties to Sony, and it shows as each FF this gen that has been available on both platforms the sony version has sold more than double of what the xbox version did. It's going to be even more extreme this gen as Sony will do better in Japan, and won't be being dominated in FF's second strongest region (americas). MGS has been on nothing but sony consoles (for titles that have sold anything of note).  Oh and both games will be vastly superior on the PS4 compared to the Xbone

Yet most of the Halo and Gears crowd will already be adopting the Xbone due to Titanfall, and you're forgetting the most important factors that will mean at worst for Sony they will be tied in the US (which counts as a win for them) due to cheaper, more games, better versions of multiplats and the fact that Playstation is a stronger brand.

Why will I take MS seriously after e3? They always talk shit about the 'new ips' that they'll be bringing and their various other 'exclusives'. At the end of the day we know a lot more of MS's hand than we do of Sony's, as we still have up to 7 new games being developed that we know nothing about, that have also been in development for a long while (2 from SCE Japan [they're a 4 dev team studio, we've just got Knack and Puppeteer, 2 studios left], Santa Monica have something brewing, Bend have been working on a ps4 title since UC:GA came out in 2011, SCE London have an title being developed, the second team of Guerilla and finally whatever Media Molecule are doing, let alone the second part support, or the fact we still need to get a propper Uncharted trailer).

I don't see anyway back for the Xbone, it's dead in the water in Japan, so that's instantly 10m advantage to the ps4, ontop of what it has, when you start getting those sort of advantages, more and more 3rd parties start developing on your platform, meaning your platform has better multiplats, they also just start making all their games exclusively for your console. Then take into the fact XBOX is being crushed in ROW and Europe (-UK), whilst it currently isn't performing better in it strong markets the gap is going to start growing quickly when Sony can start upping production. I think the gap by the end of the year will be minumum 6 million, and that is being kind to the Xbox, I would not be suprised to see that number somewhere between 8 and 9 million.

Add me on PS4 and Xbox One.  We'll play tonight.  Give us both a good reason to fire them up.  And you better be elite!

Shhh. He doesnt really have a One. SHhhh.

We'll I have both and haven't played my X1 since December before titanfall which I played 3 days straight and now am bored of. Gamertag- PoonieG4 (got a new one for X1, sold my x360 in 2010 and forgot my old id) and PSN ID - STRONG_ISLAND420.

Lets play together. Prove it.

The fact the Xbox One is not a failure is distressful to some people.

It shouldn´t be that hard to accept the facts... but ok if they want to belive "no one is buying Xboxes", who am I my to change their minds?

Really? Is that what you truly believe?

First of all the failure or sucess of the Xbox 1 cannot be a fact because its ultimately relative, the only valid perspective is that of Microsoft and their investors, furthermore, no one is saying the XB1 is a failure just that it probably won't beat the PS4, which as far as generations go, is par the course.

Xbox has never beaten PlayStation, and the trend holds today.

This is some Nintendo level white knighting right here. Despite selling faster than the 360 which had no competition during its first year you're acting like its DEFCON 2.

XB1 has it merits, buts such merits are not resonating with the consumer as well as the PS4. Like the Wii U the XB1 is chasing the casual dream into ruin.

Points:

1) Do you know what Microsoft and their investors perspective was?

2) I don´t understand what you mean by "beaten". Isn´t that subjective also?

3) What is Nintendo white kneghting?

4) The 360 was facing the bestseling console of all time.. PS2 sales in 2006 and 2007 were very imprecive.

5) Another subjective opinion.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.  I just hope he's not one of those guys that claims to have both consoles and then goes to Xbox.Com and makes an account.  The consoles tell if your play Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows, or Xbox.com and I like to see which games we share so I always look at a "friend's" profile.

You'd be surprised the number of people who used to claim to own a PS3, Vita, or Xbox 360 and never played a single game for their consoles! ;)

I'll confess, I have bought a X1 just to watch netflix.... kidding...

Is silly how many people claim to be unbiased or to have multiple consoles to "be free to shit on a platform he choose"... I preffer a Selnor and Ethomaz battling for their console of choice (no intention to offend any of them) than "neutral" guys that hide themselves to trash others...

I do know that from Ninty, MS and Sony, at the moment your least favorite is PS4, but I accept that as your preference not fakeness... but I know a lot use to make cheap shots saying they have both but one they bought just to collect dust, must be great to be rich and dumb (in those people case)...

Which game is your hand aching for on PS4? GT7 and UC4 can't come soon enough for me.

I am one of those people that is truly unbiased, as I owned all consoles last gen and will own all consoles this gen.  Guarantee it.

I think I figured out why I don't own the PS4 yet.

I own the Wii U because It had backlog (Wind Waker, Mario 3D, Mario 2D, DK, etc.) and I really want to play MK8 online - got delayed till May :(

I own the Xbox One because I wanted to play DR3, and really wanted to play COD (with my controller of preference and friends carrying over) and Titanfall online.

When playing these online games, you really want to play when they first release, as that is when the most players will be online etc.

With the PS4, I can wait a little longer for games like the Order, next Naughty Dog, etc.  Reason, Second Son is a single player game.  I can pick that up later this year and still have the same experience, since I don't need other people to still be playing it to enjoy it.  Don't get me wrong, I will probably get the PS4 sooner since I'll be itching for it, but I haven't felt the necessity yet.

Finally, I don't play enough of the multiplats to warrant it either.  I can see it as being a no brainer for those who play Theif, ACreed, etc.  See, I reasoned it out.  No fanboyism, etc.  Comes with age I guess.

Well to be fair NO ONE is truly unbiased we are all in one way or another lol. And I totally feel your points it seems you are a kind of MP gamer. So I can respect that. While I love MP games I am more of a SP gamer myself. And in my opinion the MS consoles and games just cater more to MP games. THey have a lot of excellent game but seeing as I prefer the SP experience I think that's why I kind of shyed away from them with the 360. But I will say thier games focus with the XB1 is AMAZING and speaks well for the future of the XB1!

On Topic:

Of course MS is fighitng back they are aiming to be number one and make money just like Sony and Nin so that is a no brainer lol. If they keep their commitment to games going then the future is definitely going to be good and bright for them!

5) Another subjective opinion.

1* Why does that matter? It only means that it is subjective and cant be a fact, I never said it was a failure or a success

2*No Xbox Console has outsold a Playstation Console LTD Globally, that is fact, indisputable, its not relative, it doesn't change with perspective, its absolute, hence not subjective by any means

3*Nintendo White Knighting is a colloquial term that describes the defense of Nintendo by irrational nintendo fans who instead blame consumers for failing Nintendo instead of the other way around? Stating that people are distressed by Xbox doing well is akin to blaming consumers.

4. Unless we are counting DS, which outsold PS2, PS2 has sold the most units period. MS themselves stated that XB1 is their fastest selling console, so by both metrics speed and total you are wrong.

5. The problem with using numbers is that I have no idea what the hell you are responding to. I will assume that you are replying to the comment about the casual dream, its an observation rather than opinion. XB1 kinect requirement, media features, and even reason for its name were all geared towards getting casuals to buy the XB1, not to mention the TV and Watercooler comments of their first reveal. Seeing how that casual focus has led them to making a more expensive less powerful machine that they are heavily price cutting after 6 months, its blantantly obvious that they, like nintendo, were betting on the casuals, and since they havent even outsold the Wii U LTD yet, we can see how well thats paying off.

It remembers me of Sega vs Nintendo. No matter what Sega did, it was never enough and even when it was pretty close, in the end it just wasn't enough.

The OG Xbox was the Spirtual Successor to the Dreamcast.

BUT NOW SEGA WANTS TO MAKE ALL THEIR GAMES EXCLUSIVE TO NINTENDO?!?!?!?!? At least the Sonic ones! Ugh!!
