It is not.

Only Nintendo fan base watch the Direct... everybody watch the E3... E3 gets pages in all big newspaper in the world... Nintendo Direct? I never watched one of them... and I always watched every single Nintendo E3.

The dize of the audience is a hell of different... no new possible buyer watch Directs.

E3 is one of the issue of the Wii U... they need to fix that.

People who watch E3 get info from media... media gets info from presentations and hands-on. ND is the presentation and the media has a larger more private hands-on.

Those who also watch the live presentations still will watch the publically and much wider available ND over the web.

The audience is the same. The information is better.

So why nodoby knows anything about Direct? But everybody knows what Nintendo did in every E3.

There is a huge difference in audiences.

No there isn't.

People who watch the Nintendo E3 coverage see the ND for E3. Its one and the same.

I seriously don't understand why you think less people would watch a video directly from Nintendo than a live broadcast on stage directly from Nintendo.

If you feel less people knew about the info from last E3, that's because less people cared at the time. WiiU was already a lame product in most people's eyes and everyone was focused on MSony.

I know on here and GAF and other sites, the info and reaction was the same as any E3.

No.

I'm talking about potential buyers...

Anedoctal evidence... my coworks all knows and talk about what happened with all consoles at E3 but nothing about Nintendo Direct... you see what the issue here? Nintendo Direct aim the own Nintendo user base... not new or potential buyers.

E3 sells consoles... Nitendo Direct not.

It is a almazing service for the Nintendo fan base but not to create new members for it own fan base.

It is pretty clear... Moms in US knows about Nintendo E3 because every big newspapper do big coverage but knows nothing about Nintendo Direct because it is aim a different audience.

So Nintendo Direct just didn't sell console to new potential buyers.

Nintendo last year lost a lot os sales because they didn't have a proper E3... eveybody talks about E3 (even casuals)... nobody talks about Nitnendo Direct unless it is a part of Nintendo fan base.

Nintedo can continue the Nintendo Direct to the Nintendo fan base... it is a cool way to show new things Nintendo related.

But they need desperate back with E3 for everybody else.

Nintendo Direct, E3 last year turned into corporate pissing contest. The only difference is in whether or not there is a crowd screaming over and ruining everything. I'd have rather heard the music in the Twilight Princess reveal than people screaming over it.

I have to disagree. The media coverage of the ND seemed absolutely no difference to that of previous E3s in my opinion.

I have to disagree too because nobody knows what happens on Nintendo Direct except the Nintendo owners... even in the media.

Pretty useless for sell consoles outside the fan base.

Nintendo need to remember they need to do business after all to sell their own product... need to show the advantage to everybody and not just for a little user base.
