That was weak. How is that harsh considering half the people who would even care probably dont follow EA on twitter. Harmless.

I don't think it is harsh, it's actually funny. However, if the EA guys are unable to get the frostbite engine running on Wii-U properly, they are just bad programmers. The truth is that they do not want to get it running.
Better off sticking with it then deleting it after sensitive fans complain.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Even if the Wii U had reached 20 million sold by now, EA would not be supporting it with the same vigor as the PS4 and Xbone. The Wii U might have gotten Boom Blox 3 if it sold that well, but it still wouldn't be getting those big multiplatform games from EA.

Update: In fairness to EA as a whole, since we saw the distasteful tweets and wrote this news piece the messages have quickly been deleted, presumably after somebody with an ounce of common sense at the company spotted them.

I'm disappointed.
I expected to find another opportunity to bash EA in this thread. That was no opportunity at all! Some people are being far too oversensitive.
