Forums - Sony - PSP buying help again

My psp has a small crack, dead pixels, the silver ring on the back is falling off and the battery cover is   a little cracked but it still works. I like my stuff to look nice but I called sony and they said they would replace it with a factory certified product (meaning not brand new) for 85 bucks.  Should I just buy a slim. What should I do

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Slim 170$:

TV-Out
Skype
Silver
Half the weight

Refurbished 85:

Cheap
Not new

Depends if you're ready to spend more money but if you are go with the Slim.

Well, if you really want to spend the money and get the new features, get the slim. If you don't really care and would just spend the 85 bucks, send your current one in. It's all you.

PS3 Trophies

you are spending 85 anyway, save the trouble of shipping and all sorts, get the new one ;)

Slim! You get to lose the love handles of the Phat one.

Sad but true, I traded in my Phat for seventy bucks, to get a Slim. I can't stand a fatty.

Like I said b4, if ya got the extra doe then go for the Slim.
It is faster (less loading time and adresses the freeze up issue) smaller (easier to carry less bulky) and comes in a variety of colors ( i think )

WTF did you do to it? Had mine since 2005 and the most it has is a scratch or two.

Get the Slim & Lite ... its the best choice :)
