Its the long term that Pc's are cheaper than consoles.

A gaming PC is supposed to be replaced at least every 5 years, homeconsoles now lasts 7 years.

How do you figure that?

I'd like to know the average life of PCs... for me between upgrades or hardware failures I spend $1000 on PC parts every year or two.

Then this argument doesn't make any sense at all. All computer electronics are more expensive in Argentina. The PS4 is 1100 USD (approxamately).

Electronics in general are really only accessible to rich countries. The point OP was trying to prove is that the experience of PC gaming scales with MONEY. Hence why PC master race doesn't truly exist. The REAL master race are the RICH ones.

or 2, if your X360 breaks twice... :D

honestly, what is cheaper/expensive. Depends on each persons buying habits.

As sales can be had for each. Sometimes PC games launch 10 dollars less than equivalent console games. Sometimes you can get 5 free games with 300 dollar videocard, etc. And console has PS+, and Xbox live.

And if you read my first comment, you know that's not true.

The US. Which doesn't make my first point invalid. And you're just basically saying every point I have doesn't work because I'm in the US. If that's your next comment, I'm done. It's not worth fighting an up hill battle just to have someone UNDERSTAND a sentence.

Your comment makes no difference to the picture that the OP is trying to paint ... You missed the OP's point in this thread.

How exactly did I? A middle class person can easily afford a decent PC in the US (and other developed countries). And if we're talking solely Argentina... only rich people can afford games, so that's besides the point. And I'm also not going to assume that someone is talking about Argentina considering that most people on this site are from either the US or the UK.

This thread is disgusting.

There hasn't been 1 post from a PC gamer downtalking consoles and yet its filled with people just bashing PC. You people who console war are pathetic. Grow up and just enjoy gaming. Its frankly embarrassing and a poor representation of our community
