Well of course are rich people the master race. But there is a distinction. You only belong to the master race with at least 3 different gaming systems and no reservations about buying more console if the right game pops up.

PC only gamers are pitiful. They could spend $3000 on a kickass gaming rig if they aren't willing to spend a few hundred more on other gaming opportunities they are not just NOT a master race they also aren't gamers.

You all heard millions of times that PC gamers are suppossed to be the master race right? Well I'm here to defy that notion and open your eyes to the truth people.

The notion that there is a master race within the PC race is correct though. What do I mean by this? Well there is no "PC master race" but another kind of race within it. It's called "Rich people". If PC gaming truly was the master race then everyone who had a PC would be able to enjoy the benefits of it. But there is no such thing as that in the PC realm. That realm is reigned by money, and the one who pays the most is the guy who enjoys the most.

So, to experience a "full power PC" we would have to make a great investment. That automatically takes out a big portion of the PC userbase out of it, because not everyone is willing to spend money on that and not everyone has the money to spend on that kind of thing. So you see, having a PC doesn't make you "Master Race". I have one, and it lacks audio, even league of legends runs at 15 FPS in this piece of shit.

In the end the true master race in gaming is "rich people". Not only these people can afford a PC, but they can also afford multiple gaming consoles. I think it's pretty clear who is the real "master race"

I wouldn't say that there's a higher percentage of "rich" people playing on pc than there's on consoles because I know a lot of "cheap bastards" who'd rather upgrade their hardware parts frequently than buy new games day one. i guess upgrading and tweaking seems to be also some sort of game they enjoy. i'd say the main difference between them and me (not playing on pc anymore) most likely is: they'd probably play anything as long it's cheap or free whereas i'm only interested in a few games these days but those i want day one, new and preferably not digital. for example dark souls 2: i certainly won't wait for a pc version even if it's technically superiour.

Wha ...?  You can better a PS3 or 360 with a $500 PC, why would that make you any more "pitiful" than someone who only owns one console?  What are you even talking about?

The wording was a bit off. I mean if you are able to spend that much on a PC but refuse to spend just a few hundred after that for some gaming consoles you are pitiful. Because you are limiting yourself for arbitrary reasons. I know you can make a decent gaming PC for 500 but for the real experience of stable 60fps and 1080p+ resolutions you need to spend more than that.

That's the worst thing about those PC only gamers. They tout all day long about the advantages of the PC and trashing consoles even though they could easily afford one and get at least the exclusive games.

It's just an annoying phrase developed by PC fanboys.

As I said recently on another thread:
"People often hate on another console because they are insecure and they don't want to feel they "wasted" money on an inferior system. Come to think of it, I've never seen a wealthy gamer hating on a console."

I spent more on my xbox 360 and 25 games I got for it than I did on my PC and my 300 game steam library. Now to be fair out of those 300 games there are about 50 I invested a significant amount of time in but it is still quite amazing considering my PC runs everything about as well as a PS4 does and I made it close to 3 years ago with 1 upgarde 2 years ago.

Yes the majority of PC gamers have shitty PCs and only play LoL. But the majority of Console gamers only get 10 games over the lifetime of their system. We aren't the average gamers, and people who spend a lot on their PCs can get much better bang for their buck than people who spend a lot on consoles.
