Im not a big fan of prof. maybe im wrong but seems like alot oh anti xbox threads

This is an anti-xbox thread?

No, if it was an anti-xbox thread, I'd be mocking it. See my thread called "are ps4 owners really paying 100$ less for more power", to see what an anti xbox thread looks like.

This is a strategy thread.
You may think it's stupid, but I have a pretty good track record with my predictions.
I usually come close to the end result.

In fact, I made a prediction on what the next playstation should be back in 2010 or 2011, and it turned out to be what the next xbox was.

hmm forgive me then. maybe i spoke too soon. no this thread isnt bad, its from another one ill try to find it.

You don't understand the market either seeing that over 95% of the population does not have or does not have access to fast enough internet speeds in order for a driveless console to make sense.  Also it would make even less sense in X1 main market the US due to data caps.

Ok, well your only argument is that they couldn't do without a disc drive.

Ok well, fine. I'll concede that point to you. Doesn't do much to change the OP.

99$ external BR add on. There you go.

No disc drive would be dumb as hell. PSPGo all over again. No way does a majority of the country have fast enough Internets to download these games. Would be appealing to only the smallest of a minority. And until that day comes, no thanks. I welcome the arrival of DD only and an ecosystem like the PC market has, but the console world is not ready for that.

Stopped reading at pspgo. smh

Much like 99% of the US customers would stop reading at "NO DISC DRIVE".

That would be even dumber no one really buys add ons its one of the main reasons why Sega failed as a console maker 32X and Sega CD.

You're entitled to your opinion.

Actually xbox360 proved that add-ons work.

Proprietary hard drive addon.
Proprietary HDDVD Add-on
Proprietary WiFi dongle add-on
Proprietary camera

Those all worked really well in padding the bottom line while cutting costs.

Sega's problem was making NEW CONSOLES add-ons.

XB360 had a SKU with no hard-drive, no wifi, and DVD9, and yet all that hardware sold well. Then they had the elite, which had all the extras packed in for a higher price.

I'm not sure I see how this is THAT different. The point is to get the cost lower without removing kinect.

What're your thoughts? Remove kinect?

Aside from your incredulousness at the BR removal.....is there anything else in the OP you disagree with?

All the X1 needs is more games and they are going to announce a ton at E3 also its still off to a better start then the 360 both in software sales and hardware sales and the 360 launched in a lot more regions then the X1 did.

They will just drop the price to $399 in the fall, they have already pushed it to $450.
