Forums - Sony - Big Vita Relaunch on E3 or at launch of Borderlands Bundle in NA?

So long as your idea of a big relaunch is bundling a two year old game and acknowledging that the system exists for one week, then sure.

kinda sad thats the big game for vita in the first half of the year in US, (unless FFX is the biggest)

Now thinking about it, are the biggest games on vita within the first 6 months ports/remakes? GoW+Borderlands+FFX

I dont think Sony cares enough about the Vita...Sony is extremely lucky that 3rd parties are carrying the system in Japan

If Sony sells another building and spends all that money on the vita, than maybe but I think they would rather spend that on the ps4

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

If I was Sony, I'd leave the Vita alone and just put all those resources on games for the PS4.

But if Sony wants to keep it alive, try to get every Indie on it along with the PS3 and PS4, support cross-buy and make a PS4+PS Vita bunduru, and maybe try to get every PS2 game on it you can. Games like GTA San Andreas could work on the Vit, no doubt!

It's the high profile game (along with FFX) for sure, but the big games are the ones most people have not heard of so far as quality goes.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

My guess is no. Western games will likely be indies, some ports and maybe one unique project. This is a system that is going to be carried by Japan. Great for people like me that love Japanese games, but understandably will keep it distinctly niche.

Seriously, Vita needs a relaunch in NA and EU, backed by many ads and tons of new announcements that gamers wanted. What are your thoughts on this?

They already have.  Vita has tons of great AAA games coming this year and advertisements for them. I think you just forgot that any time you have questions about Vita announcements you just need to look at PS4's library.  Silly people thinking Vita is it's own console that needs it's own games and advertising.

Not happening.

That is basically what Sony has had several of their people say on record.  Though they somehow managed it with less sarcasm and trolling.  Sigh.  Who knew my favorite console was doomed to being an expensive controller to a console I don't plan to buy so soon after I bought it.  Never before has any playstation hardware seen such neglect.
