Seriously, Vita needs a relaunch in NA and EU, backed by many ads and tons of new announcements that gamers wanted. What are your thoughts on this?

The less attention SCEA/SCEE pay to the thing, the better it seems to be doing for releases.

SCEA has given up the Vita doing very well. They'll continue they're horrible support till it dies. SCEJ and Japanese third parties are what's carrying the handheld.

So long as your idea of a big relaunch is bundling a two year old game and acknowledging that the system exists for one week, then sure.

Vita is dead and buried outside Japan.

I really doubt they will attempt a big turn around for the Vita. Would cost a fair bit and have a pretty lower chance of good returns, so not really worth it.

All we can really hope for now is that Sony might chance the handheld market again in a few years. Sadly, i think it's pretty unlikely considering the failure of the Vita and the rather unhealthy decline of handhelds in general over the last few years :/
