Forums - Gaming - GTX TITAN Z announced $2999

8 Teraflops = 6 XOnes tiped together.

6 times the price... seems fair.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Not too crazy for me. In fact, it's perfect!

SLI or single GTX Titan Z?

It's already a dual card (look closely at it, resembles the 690). Won't need more than one (12GB of GDDR5 and 8TFLOPS). For my needs, it's perfect.

Can I join in on the heist you have to pull to afford this?

I don't think the heists DLC are available yet. You'll have to replay the missions over and over again.

I'll just torrent it then!

Don't know anything about computers so don't know if good...

According to MisterXMedia, this Titan card is almost as fast as the XBox One (once DirectX12 is fully enabled)...

Swifty will probably buy this to play wow on

The Titan series sells really well to anyone who wants a cheap workstation as the quadro or tesla variants are several times more expensive.

For those that didnt watch the conference, the Titans are not aimed at gamers, yes they make games look good, but the reason titans sell so well, is cos there sold to research institutes for doing GPU compute stuff, as GPU's are just far better than CPUs these days.

Industry will make this tech more affordable in a couple of years.

He did say it would run any game out today at 4k 60fps tho ;)
