What the hell does this have to do with the thread? It's not like Lionhead is the only one hiring...Other Sony studios are hiring such as Naughty Dog.

I think so. I don't know much about these things, but I imagine if they make these changes before the end of the financial year their projections for the next year will be more favourable which will keep stockholders happy.

Maybe becuase Sony is a Japanese company. MSFT seems to be building strong internal studios, hopefully some of the released talent find jobs working on XB1.
New financial year starting in April, new budget. I've seen SCE do this every few years.
