Yes. The increased responsiveness suits Nintendo games.

They should definitely stick to a locked 60fps, they're the only ones who seem to be able to do it. Lol. Seriously though, it makes for very responsive gameplay which I think is an actual advantage to gamers over obsessing over every jagged edge I see. Vsync (which is also used in every Wii-U game) stops screen tearing and am glad Nintendo uses this feature as well. 3rd parties need a little more time developing for it though, because their frame rates for the Wii U tends to blow (which is weird because they've been developing hd games for so long and Nintendo 1st party games outperform most multiplats).
To get back to the point though, performance is vastly more important than resolution in my opinion.
Gameplay > Visuals
id rather have the game look like garbage and run smooth
than have it run like garbage and look pretty.
Yes it depends on the game. In a shooter I don't want to see lower framerates. But amazing graphics aren't that bad sometimes ;)
But I prefer the 60 fps.
I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?
I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.
Depends on the game, not all of them need 60 fps

90% understand that gameplay > graphics. Thank god :)
But if Nintendo ever decides to make a game like BeyondTwoSouls that has no chaotical gameplay that is "slow" in pace and does not need precision then they could always do what QuanticDream did and targed 20fps etc.
(the first time you see the "portal" was quite cool I have to admit)
Games like Xenoblade (on Pal systems) ran at 25 fps or so and that didnt matter much because the framerate was not all over the place so it was not really obvious and the gameplay also didnt suffer from 25fps because its not a super fast paced game.
Releasing games like GTA5 that drop to 20 fps or Castlevania LoS1 that drops to 8fps is an insult to gamers tho.

yes.
but i know that smooth framerate is not seen on youtube and static imagens that could help to market the games.
I like this objective approach to making the gameplay more svelte than the subjective approach of making things "prettier."
So of course that's a yes.
