Forums - Nintendo - #NintendoRedirect phase 1 is over

No one cares about b-games like F-Zero and Starfox. Why not go for something big like Mario Galaxy or Legend of Zelda?

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

lol not trending.

I don't get what's so funny about it.

I'm not a fan of Shokio.

The whole thing is pointless. No one really cares about F-Zero (although I do like it) or Starfox, and none of these things are Nintendo's problem. If Nintendo fans are going to have a movement, it should be simple and target the real issues with Nintendo's current strategy. i.e.:

#Nintendoshouldcaterto3rdparties
or
#MatureNintendo
or
#Nintendomakeapowerfulsystem.

Nintendo could greenlight Platinum Games to make a Starfox tomorrow and it will mean nothing.

Well they're focusing on the wrong things that need fixing so I expected this.

Hey! I mean, if it wotks then why not? Last time something like this happened project rainfall probably got us Xenoblade (at least the last story and pandoras tower), and that couldn't make me happier. If this get's us something as simple as folders I would be happy. It takes five seconds to type a twitter post.

Yet Nintendo stated multiple times that Operation Rainfall had no impact on their decisions whatsoever...

This is sort of silly...I mean, I'll do it, but if Nintendo decides to do this stuff it wont be because a few people tweeted something.

^ That worked, didn't it?

Don't think Nintendo will be making F-Zero or Star fox because of this, but Nintendohave been listening to fans when it comes to smaller things like VC releases.

I doubt it...it seems to me like it was already in the cards (Nintendo has acknowledged the Earthbound fanbase in NA multiple times in the past)...

Anyways, like I said elsewhere, this is more like an angry mob than a "movement"...too many people just yelling random things and not enough organization.

Legend of Zelda is obviously already in production and a new Mario Galaxy will get made if Nintendo wants to make it...

Nintendo is not going to start development of any game just because a few people online asked for it. They will do it if they think they have enough new ideas to make it work and they think it is a good business decision. Asking for games via glorified petition is not a smart idea and will get you nowhere. Nintendo has already stated their opinion on petitions...

Yeah like others have said they need to be more focused, It might just be better to focus on one thing each phase. I can't really be bothered to get behind since their not asking for a Monolith Soft open world Pokémon RPG or a new advance wars which are the two things I would most like to see from Nintendo in terms of new games.

this is not going to accomplish anything.

The ones that could make this rigth are the onw that don't believe that this will help.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Lol i checked it and it was ridiculous. Everybody was asking for everything. "Nintendo please make a new metroid, and a new Star Fox, and please buy Capcom, and Sony, and please Nintendo please fund the next Uncharted."

This movement became a joke when star fox and f-zero is said  its going to help the wiiu.
