Well good luck. With the number of PS4s and Wii U's that will be in Japan by the time Xb one launches MS are going to have to pay the developer a lot of money to keep it exclusive.

Just like Sony paid for Watchdogs temporary DLCs?

What's a temporary DLC? I imagine paying for something that is not a full game and is only temporary is pretty cheap compared to paying for an exclusive game. And given PS4 has the largest install base it's hardly a comparable situation with this Japan exclusive for Xb one, being that Xb one has zero install base (officially) whereas Wii U has 1.6 million and PS4 might have 750K by September. The loss of sales potential for a high quality Japan-centric game by being exlusive to Xb one is immense.

The next main title(At the time) of the Tales series?

First, they are a branch of Bandai Namco. Second, they didn't go under after they released Tales on Xbox.

Vesperia was released in 2008 and they released another one in 2011. Vesperia(X360) was their most sucessful home console release in the US after the Game Cube one.

I would've thought that people would be happy that MS is helping out Japanese devs and offer more software diversity to gamers but it looks like you guys are not interested in that.

1.  They "were" a branch, keyword there with the were.

2. I see no reason that Xillia won't outsell Vesperia, or hasn't with online sales.

3.  Vesperia exclusively for the 360 in Japan for its first year is part of the reason why consoles are almost dead in Japan.  The PS3 didn't sell too well for the same reasons in the world, but the Wii sure did... until gamers realized there was going to be very little japanese support; e.g. RPGs.

Most likely the games will be released in the West and make your point moot.

Install base is just another factor in sales like the willingness of consumers to buy them. Like COD on X1 and PS4 are almost the same and PS4 sold twice as much as X1 by February.

And the game attach ratio for Xbox consoles have always been amazing.

If MS market them right I see no reason why gamers in he West won't notice them. I mean, 360's Tales was the 2nd best selling one on home consoles in the West.

I like those centric Japanese centric titles. Theres a problem in it ?
Maybe you should just give a go with those titles  -.-

So basically, a game that will have marginal appeal outside of Japan for a console that isn't go to sell in Japan. Awesome.

I love them as well I play JRPGs non stop and sadly dont speak Japanese or Id play more of them, Im limited to the ones that get translated to English. What I meant with my comment is that ppl in the west always love when Japanese games excluisve or otherwise get localised and stuf but when its time to actualy buy the game they dont propperly support them. Any Japanese industry releasing an exclusive Japan centric game for XOne banking on the fact the game will sell well to the already considerable XOne west install base is threading on very thin ice.

Unless its From Software releasing an exclusive Souls game (wich btw would make me insta buy an XOne).

Devil's Third, perhaps. Somebody had to pick that up.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Yeah, I agree. If From Software makes a ''Souls'' game exclusive for Xbox. I am tempted in buying a Xbox  :3
