What's a temporary DLC? I imagine paying for something that is not a full game and is only temporary is pretty cheap compared to paying for an exclusive game. And given PS4 has the largest install base it's hardly a comparable situation with this Japan exclusive for Xb one, being that Xb one has zero install base (officially) whereas Wii U has 1.6 million and PS4 might have 750K by September. The loss of sales potential for a high quality Japan-centric game by being exlusive to Xb one is immense.

Most likely the games will be released in the West and make your point moot.
Install base is just another factor in sales like the willingness of consumers to buy them. Like COD on X1 and PS4 are almost the same and PS4 sold twice as much as X1 by February.
And the game attach ratio for Xbox consoles have always been amazing.

Ye and Western gamers love to buy those Japanese centric titles right ? Tehy sell like less tham 100k lifetime on the west and its considered a good number.

I love them as well I play JRPGs non stop and sadly dont speak Japanese or Id play more of them, Im limited to the ones that get translated to English. What I meant with my comment is that ppl in the west always love when Japanese games excluisve or otherwise get localised and stuf but when its time to actualy buy the game they dont propperly support them. Any Japanese industry releasing an exclusive Japan centric game for XOne banking on the fact the game will sell well to the already considerable XOne west install base is threading on very thin ice.
Unless its From Software releasing an exclusive Souls game (wich btw would make me insta buy an XOne).
