Wanna bet!?

Sure why not, lets bet one of those sign things

The real question ought to be, what will Microsoft do? Currently, they are in 3rd place. Sad thing is, the Xbox One is getting many of the multiplats that the Wii U isn't, yet the Xbox One doesn't appear to be catching up to the Wii U any time soon.

You mean signature? The terms I usually use are 1 month avatar control, 1 year of winner's victory in loser's signature. That alright with ya?

You really think Nintendo haven't already decided to write off the Wii U? That's sweet of you, Seece, but Nintendo is definitely already looking forward. They know the Wii U is failing horribly and they know they need to do something different next generation in order for people to actually give a damn about them in the home console market.

They will continue to support the Wii U moderately at least through 2015. I can see them pulling a GameCube and doing a Wii U/Next Generation console game release like they did with TP in 2016/17.

Done, now lets just wait.

I knew this was a Wii U thread before opening it.

Alrights! And remember a completely new console, not just a Wii U remodel!

Seriously? One will past Wii U sales by this time next year. One is consistently outselling U on a weekly basis, hasn't been on the market as long as U, way more expensive, better marketing, 3rd party support, less territories launched; One has far more demand than Wii U overall.

I'd like to hear how exactly that would be possible.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I think internally they are commited to the following projects on Wii U

Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, X, Zelda U, Yarn Yoshi, Smash Bros. U, Fire Emblem x SMT, and probably a moderate handful of other unannounced projects ... likely things like Mario Party U, Kirby U, and maybe a Metroid game.

I think they will go ahead and release all these through the end of 2015 but are also working on a new portable (hybrid) platform for 2015 and a lot of these games will be ported to that platform because Nintendo is not going to get the sales they want on the Wii U from these games.

Beyond that I don't think Nintendo is greenlighting any new major Wii U games now, I think they just want to wash their hands of the platform as quickly as possible. It's a drag on their bottom line and its hurting key franchises (ie: DKC, Pikmin, etc.).
