You would think now Japan has launched, they don't need to save up any extra units for that, so why would it get worse now

Not hard to find in Scandinavia. This sounds a bit over the top, what kind of baseline are they expecting here?

As someone said Amazon has had them for a while now. a handful of best buys near me have them as well, says I can pick up in store. Wonder if it was just for Infamous. Strange how they can ratchet up shipments then they come down.

Increase in demand or decrease in shipments?

That'd be strange if they shipped more units for the release of Titanfall than they do/did for the release of Infamous.

More to the op, I've still only seen two PS4s in the wild. I think we're at a stage where anyone in the US that wants one can find one, but you still have to call around or check online first. My prediction of stock issues being over in the US in January was way off.

It did that in the UK for a bit, then suddenly it completely dried up again.

Amazon UK have sold out again, next shipment 2nd of April apparently. Shop To still have it in stock though. So I guess that's what they mean really. You can get them if you look, but not expect to walk into any store and get one.

At least they noted that demand hasn't been as great in Japan, where you can apparently find one with ease already. Japan, of course, is more mobile oriented.
