Not only am i ashamed that a specific user keeps using insiderp as a source when they have no source themselves along with the mediocrity of the site, but im ashamed that this thread has over 100 comments.

TO be completely honest i wouldnt doubt if INFamous reaches anywhere from 600k to 1m first week being the first big sony game since launch.

It didnt have "Rumor" or "(Insiderp)" 30 minutes ago which is sad cuz I reported this thread as soon as it was posted.

I find that pitiful to be honest.

I find it pitiful that you posted this thread/un-reliable site without "Rumor" in the title. You posted it as a fact. Thats the reason it was changed.

It would be funny if these numbers were true.

Why?  Dont you expect a million sales at least?

I do.

Less is a bit disappointing if you ask me, considering the hype (massive on social netwoking as we are constanly reminded - "gone viral!") and lack of alternatives in the last couple of months for PS4 buyers.  They will lap this up surely?

You act as if third party support on the PS4 is non existant.

I wonder if we should have certain sites that we "ban".  To be honest I've never been a big fan of that policy on Neogaf because even sites that are seen as bad for one reason or another can post meaningful things that shouldn't be ignored because of past transgressions.  Maybe it's just the freedom of speech advocate in me as well where I prefer to give people as much freedom as I can within reason and banning certain sites from ever being mentioned goes counter to that.

lol insidederp.

I am 100% sure they are a subsidiary of Sony simply there to bring in the clicks and baits. After the disappointing reviews I expect nothing less than ''Infamous cures cancer'' articles from them in the next few days.

gaf (the site and mods) try to keep a veneer of impartiality (they fail, but at leats they appear to try).  The forum is however, as you say, very pro sony.

Gaf isn't anti-MS, they're anti BS and don't like it when a company tries screwing consumers over (as any rational person should). MS just so happens to have tried just that and their PR seems determined on spewing as much BS as they can

Well, I don't expect this site to have the same stance as GAF tbh. GAF don't like posting unproven figures because they like to syphon out the BS and the unconfirmed, what is the point in talking abour 'rumoured' figures? Especially when it comes from a site that is blatantly biased and unprofessional (seriously have you seen the site) anyone could literally have a site like that up within a day, post it here, and you'll have 50 odd people believeing it because they want it to be true. What's the point?

I just think any and all threads related to Insiderp should be locked.

Continued posting of Insiderp shit = Moderation.

Did either of the first 2 games in the series open to a million? No they didn't, so I keep my expectations in check. And I didn't ask you actually. Because if I did, your answer will likely be filled with either evasive or sarcastic comments. Regardless of social networking, if it opens to a million then the series in growing. I'll stick to being content with that and you can stick to your prediction charts and trying your hardest each day to make Sony fans eat some kind of crow like always..
