For me, the Wii U offered me a great value too. The streaming options are faster and easier to navigate than on my 360 and my wife enjoys gaming on the Wii U with me more than the 360.
But given what you shared, I may yet get an X1 down the line. Nice post :)

Not gonna lie, I thought about making a post about this too!! I am so freaking satisfied with the features that kinect offers with connectivity that I don't even care there are almost no games for it. The last game I played that used Kinect was Ryse and I thought it was cool how they used voice controls with it. But love just saying Xbox On and how my TV, my Xbox and my cable turn on. And there's nothing like saying Xbox Watch ESPN, ESPN2, go to Netflix, etc. I hardly ever touch my TV remote and there is just something cool about it.
