platformers

Can you explain how that would work?

Would they, you know, die?

Other than First Person Sex games? Honestly, I have no idea.

Sword Art Online.

Congratulations, you sir win.

Nintendo need to have VR for 1st person Star Fox game. Then they will finally have that innovation that they apparently needed for a new game.
I would also say F-Zero but I would like to not vomit everywhere until the end of time

FPP games are a substantial part of the market. Besides all the multi-player shooters, you have franchises like Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Resident Evil, and Gran Turismo.

VR Fallout is a very interesting thought to me.

My main worry would be how I am so used to looking/moving with the right analog, I am assuming i turn my head up or down with VR and dont use the right stick?

Has anyone used Rift or similar tech to maybe explain how these changes work in that setting?

I suppose I could get used to it or adapt but I have been doing this as second nature with the right analog for 15 years, could I adjust quickly enough to not get frustrated?

- Racing games
- Sports games (SSX, Downhill BMX)
- Flying games (Flight/Combat sims)
- Space sim games (Star citizen, Elite 2)
- Platformers (Mirror's edge, Portal)
- Adventures (Myst, Dear Esther, Datura)
- Arcade games (Flower, Minecraft)
- Puzzle games (Anti chamber, Unfinished swan)
- Survival horror (Outlast)
- RPG (Dark souls, Fallout)

How would this be for vertigo in VR.

I don't think you need First Person for VR. I can also imagine playing Mario in VR. Sure I'm not moving myself, but I think it would still be pretty fun to just dive in in the game completely. So I can really imagine any game to be played in VR. It's like the ultimate 3D experience.

That said, I have yet to try it out. Didn't have the chance unfortunately. But I will try it at gamescom! Can't wait! :)
