He wasn´t the one who braked the resolutiongate for COD Ghosts. 

He didn´t talked about NPD january until hours before it was released, and he haven´t spoke a word about February NPD resurgency. And he also made terrible intel about December NPD, he said PS4 had won and had 250k units sold the first week.

Can you see the patern here? He just "surf" in reports that might be true or he thinks have a good chance of being trues. He parrots others gaffer insiders but has never show any any reliable first hand news. 

He is as reliable as tossing a coin.


What does that make someone like you that just said COD will have same res on the next game? Lol. Wishful thinking only gets you so far

Na he's a misterx belieber. Remember misterx is always right to people like him and gaf, where most gaming devs. and actual industry insiders have accounts and actually post,  and it's insiders have no credibility unlike misterx's insiders (voices in his head) who are accurate 100% of the time :p

Off topic, but just out of curiosity, if you do this, and you play a multiplayer game, does it put you on US servers instead of EU servers, resulting in long ping times?  Or is it smart enough to know where you are and connect you to the fastest servers?

Thats what i was afraid of aswell..  Thing is that i log into my regular EU psn account..  By making everything on my system a master account and main console all my accounts can play each others games with no restrictions.  Havent had any latency issues even though im running at a humble 20/2 connection over wifi. Therefore Im gonna assume im on the EU servers

This is quite possibly true as the PS4 has more power and is easy to develop for.

That being said Dodd may be the most annoying person in gaming right now. His agenda is beyond clear and he even openly admits he's completely Sony bias.

Edit - Also, just because he says he is sony bias doesn't mean he has a hatred of the other systems. Aren't you the one who openly claims you are Microsoft bias, does that mean you have a hatred for PlayStation/Nintendo? I don't think so, but maybe you do.

For those trying to discredit NeoGaf insiders should know that almost all noteworthy Gaming news comes from there. Info on XBO DRM snaffu, Resolutiongate, PS4 GDDR5 Ram, Price points, Driveclub Delay, etc etc. So many things that came true. Sure, they are not always right, but it is less about lying and more about circumstances changed.

The effect this type of thing has? Well for starters it begins to severe the XBO's shooter paradise mindshare. That would be reason enough for Sony to want this to happen. Destiny and COD in their camp, exclusive DLC for PS4? Would be big in stealing even more of 360's main crowd. There was a rumor months ago about Activision not being too keen on how chummy MS was getting with their long time rival EA, and the fact they were over supporting a game that will inevitably become Activision's competition, Titanfall. If MS promotes Titanfall so heavily as the shooter to have on their console, that leaves less room for THEIR games like Destiny and COD. Coupled with the fact that PS4 is outselling XBO in hardware and software, this makes this seem even more likely.

No surprises. PS4 is more powerful and easier to develop for. They can mess around with optimising XB1 and its 32mb of ESRAM afterwards if they have time left.

I dont think this will have any impact on MS's timed exclusive DLC deal though.
