Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo has enough cash in the bank to run a deficit for 38 years- All is good in the Hood?

If they keep posting losses for that long it's pretty clear something is wrong in the company. I am pretty sure they won't last 38 years posting losses, they can't keep a company running like that for so many years.

They should pick a little amount of this money and invest on some games for the Wii U!

No idea what's so cool for Nintendo fans to be bragging about having this cash when it's locked in the bank and they are not investing it... They could be unflopping the Wii U right now...

That is not even close to how it actually works in the real world.

Dumb article.

Please enlighten us on how the real world ACTUALLY works, please? I'm very curious to know.

Figures from last year:

Figures from two months ago, though Q3 rather than fiscal year, so not as good for comparison:

I can also survive while being broke and underwater on well, everything. Doesn't mean I or anyone ales should just shrug their shoulders at that happening.
