Forums - Nintendo - New Super Mario All-stars?

I know The New super mario series has been really beaten to death it seems, but would anyone be interested in a New Super Mario All-stars?

essentially, just like Super mario all-stars, but in the form of NSMB. Honestly, I like the idea of playing SMB2 and 3 remade in NSMB image.

I would try it. I would be interested.

What we really need is, Super Cranky All-Stars

You're almost as bad as Tbone with his constant haggling about wanting Nintendo to milk their franchises even more.

I ask you, are you trying to take Nintendo down from the inside? Well, are you?!

I like the idea, but not in the crappy bland art style of NSMB. I'd rather them keep the gritty look of those classics but updated with (this time) beautiful graphics, orchestrate the background music and add multi-player (online and local) The battlemode in SMB3 with online 4 player alone would be worth the price of admission.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

And the game should cost $60. That would make gamers really happy!

Is it in the works or is this just wishfull thinking? Either way I would more than likely buy it and enjoy it.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

Shigeru Miyamoto

I would like a Mario game with the best levels of old 2D Mario games. Sing me in!

2D Mario needs to take a sabbatical for a little while - Nintendo needs to focus on other things.
