You're going to be disapointed in the end when you realize that you don't have any physical discs.

If you loose you console you probably won't get your games back because digital Nintendo games are tied to the hardware according to former reports. This is why I do not buy a single digital game. The only reason to buy digital is that they are much more comfortable to use as no disc switching is required.

but if you dont like the game, all your money is lost.
With physical, if you dont like it, atleast you can sell it again.
Even if it is a game you like, but you have finished with it, you can keep trading in physical games, cant do that with digital.

edit: I should add that it might bite you in the ass in the future though buying physical. I bought wipeout HD physical then for wipeout on vita, the DLC was cross-platform, but I couldnt get it since my wipeout HD fury was physical. If I bought it from the store, then I could have played it on the vita too.

but the chances of something like that happening are very small and do not outweigh the benefits i mentioned above.

Selling a game you just payed 60$ for for 35$ is not a very good option in my opinion. Atleast with digital you get no tax and (on Playstation) you can play it on 2 different PS3s or 2 differtent PS4s at the same time.

I generally buy physical, but I buy digital if I me and my gf will play it together so we can both play it for the price of one.

Yeah for sharing its great value.

I remember when sony used to allow about 6 different systems and people used to split the price of a game so they could get it for dirt cheap lol. Shame too many people exploited that and they had to reduce it.

Alright alright, guess I'll be sticking with physical then! Thanks for all the input guys! ^_^

Yeah but 2 is still very fair. If you arrange your PS3s and PS4s correctly you can buy 1 game and play it together online. Not to mention me and my GF can share my PSPlus account. Sony's rules are awesome :) lol

No, retail copies of Nintendo games never go down in price. I just sold my friends Smash Bros Melee for $45......In real life you're going to not like 1 game you own. Selling it would be worthwhile to stick to retail.

Plus usually games at retail, or on eBay are cheaper then digital. Just bought Paper Mario for $26 on eBay, new and sealed.

Faster loading, no tax, console runs cooler, do not have to worry about losing or damage the disc.

The downsides being

no Box, the fact you can not sell it (I NEVER sell games), the fact that the servers will go down eventually. Can not share it with the masses as easily

It's really up to you. I personally prefer retail games, because then I have something to look at. Also, the Wii U eshop is at least as expensive as the retail game, if not even more expensive. (don't forget to get a harddrive)
