For me Mgs2 and MGS1 were the best Mgs in the series. After MGS 2, the series deteriorated badly and for me MGS4 is by far teh worst MGS game for me. The most boring 24 hours of my time .

And how this is different of GT5 prologue?

Really?  I'd say the sniping section was one of the better ones.  That + Vamp/Ray/Solidus were among my favourite parts.  The Big Shell as a whole, however, was my least favourite part.  It was a really horrible, boring location.


I was gonna say that Big Shell wasn't that boring. But after thinking about it, I have to admit you're right. Searching and freezing the bombs, looking for Ames, looking for the President, swimming and dragging Emma around... it was boring indeed. Sneaking around avoiding the guards and knocking them out is probably what I liked the most, and it is a damn good challenge.

I agree MGS2 was brilliant as a whole. But I think MGS3 tops it for me. Just on story alone.
