I use Adblack Plus. free app on firefox, and chrome has it too. Its excellent, I don't see any ads.

I find it funny, the ads are designed to make you want thing, but they are are so obnoxious you end up blocking them and never seeing any of them. So instead of getting your attention, they all get ignored.

Pretty much any add (or footer) that moves or wiggle just infuriates me. Even worse if you force sound (Nintendo had some of those recently.)

I also recommend Flash Block. Few thing drive me crazy more than trying to read something - with some kind of wiggle add off to the side. I also hate those scrolling blocks, or that twitter feed that scrolls every second or two.

Sometimes I miss books. You can just read them without them trying to fight you. Sorry advertisers, if you want my attention you will have to be polite.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
