I can see 41 to 44 and maybe 45-48, anything above, no way!!! But I seriously cannot wait till it comes out. I have been watching every ep of gameXplain where they analyze every new screen shot of the new SSB and gawd, it just gets better and better

I'm still a bit skeptical of the game actually releasing this year. Afterall, Brawl was also originally supposed to release in the holiday period, and we knew more about that game at this point in time than we do now about SSB4. Then again, they have Namco Bandai assisting em this time around, so HD development and Online play n things like that should be non issues!

But anywhos yeah I'm also expecting around 45 characters.

how cpuld they cut the original 12? I mean the only character maybe was jigglypuff but thats it. SSBM had so many clones! Mewtwo shouldn't have been cut though.

Bigger roster overall > a few roster cuts, especially when the only cut that mattered was Mewtwo.

Project M has the right idea and the only bad clones were pichu and roy and even roy has spirit.

100% Agreed! Also as its kinda funny, the 5 cut characters could in a way be in SSB that would be acceptable.

~Mewtwo: Really the only character that needs  to come back. Seriously one of the most iconic characters (not just talking pokemon) isnt included? As for the "Lucario's In, no mewtwo" sayers, Why? Mewtwo and Lucario share just 1 move (not a clone) and Mewtwo was suppose to be in SSBB!

~Dr. Mario: A costume, no more. (like Wario's 2 appearances in SSBB)

~Young Link: MM incarnation. Uses the mask for a moveset (Deku/Goron/Zora)

~Pichu: Well not pichu but instead Plusle+Minun (i dont really want), they were attended in SSBB as well

~Roy: ???? A new non clone moveset?

Wow just notice, i really think ssb4 will introduce most franchise's from previous installments. SSBM brought in 3 and SSBB brought in 6, SSB4 already has 4 and with possibilities of Shulk/Isaac/Saki/Another 3rd party rep, we might see 7+ new ones :)
