or that the lower one is either compressed and less defenition and looks like the screen is to heavly back light as its washing it out to much aka wrong tv setting?

When they agree to Titanfall on the Xbox One, EA will have basically demanded compensation for the PlayStation sales. Since then, the PS3 and to a greater extent PS4 have had higher sales than anticipated

I'm more excited about inFamous and I'm sure there are plenty more who are too, but twitter isn't very representitive of the wider audience

However, twitter is much more representative of a wide audience than gamer sites.  Only gamers frequent gamer sites, EVERYONE visits youtube and twitter.

MORE, still not very. Though I must admit I just don't like twitter, so am less likely to listen to it. I just don't see any way that inFamous Second Son outsells Titanfall

Nothing new there. It's pretty obvious that MS didn't pay as much money as EA would make releasing on PS3/4. To their defense though, nobody knew that the roles would be reversed so at the time it probably was a good deal for them.

EA doesn't need a meeting with Sony to know they missed out on lots of sales. That's why I think the story is bullshit.

the EA meeting with sony might have been about the second Titanfall not going exclusive to Xbox, Sony would have or should have had a meeting to try and prevent that showing the sales EA missed out on.  The ps4 selling better may cause companies to rethink thier exclusiveness with the Xbox going forward.

Meh on second son info.

EA deal was based on an estimation that XBO and PS4 would be similar in sells and X360 owns NA where FPS dominates. It was a safe risk to make and ask for $$$ cash to cover the assumed range of PS sales.

That's a risk every company makes with exclusives. Unfortunately EA drank the MS cool-aid and that shit had a bad aftertaste. Now PS4 is dominating world-wide and while Titanfall will surely do well and be profitable, EA realizes they could have made significantly more by making it non-exclusive.

All this will do in the long run is prevent anyone from really wanting to go exclusive, especially on MS hardware. However, if PS4 keeps selling at this near-Wii and PS2 pace while Wii U and XBO stagnate, expect to see 3rd parties overwhelmingly willing to go exclusive on PS4 over the next few years.

This coming holiday will likely seal that fate.

Seriously, they didn't even apologise for the shitstain that is Batteflied 4 and SimCity launch, they're not gonna say sorry. They will simply brush it aside and talk about Titanfall 2.
