It was 5-7 days before if I recall correctly.

Everyone knows Ryan McCaffrey is the biggest Xbox fanboy. He'll probably give it 8+ even if it sucks.

Damn, really? Maybe I was just late on the uptake.
Bioshock Infinite and GTA V didn't have any reviews come out until the release date, for example. Embargos don't mean anything, it's more a corporate decision.
Don't think so, most x1 release titles were embargoed like this for the better or worst. It will depend on if you liked other x1 embargoed games. Ryse for example could've been affected by the bad reviews but most ms fans here say they like it (Knack is similar) so maybe for it it was good. Preffer that than 95/100 for gta4 that a lot of people hated.

I really hope this is a joke. I can think of plenty of games that scored amazingly with embargo not lifting until day before. I.E. GTA5.
Many big games have late review embargos and still get great scores.
Of course, I spent many hours on the beta, probably won't even read a review. Game gets 10/10 from me if its half as good as the beta.
Plenty of great games have embargos, not really a bad sign or anything.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
Not a bad sign at all!! Also, this game should not be marked down for multiplayer only. Why have a single player 2 hour campaign like COD and BF, just get straight into the action and have fun.

10 threads per main review site like IGN, cherry picking good/bad statements depending on the side of the fence. Then a couple of bad reviews posted, then posted again. I have a good feeling meta will be fine, though.
It's an online game. Surely they need people online to play it? Hence the later embargo? Anyone?
